Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider and dispose petitioner's representations dated 08.02.2020 and 16.11.2020 to mutate all revenue records in petitioner's name and sub-division of his property in respect of 4.5 acres of agricultural lands comprised in Survey No.124/6, Maiyur Gudupakkam Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District as per the directions issued under G.O.Ms.No.277, Revenue Department, dated 04.06.2004 and as per
the decisions and directions issued by the 1st respondent under the order dated 25.05.2015 within the time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R
(The case has been heard through video conference) The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 08.02.2020 and 16.11.2020 seeking to mutate all revenue records in his name and also sub-division of property as per the directions issued in G.O.Ms.No.277, Revenue Department, dated 04.06.2004 and as per the directions issued by the 1st respondent within a time to be fixed by this court.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, he is an Exserviceman. Earlier, the agricultural lands comprised in Survey No.124/6, Maiyur Gudupakkam Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District admeasuring an extent of 4.5 acres was assigned in favour of petitioner and patta was also granted by the authorities. Thereafter, the revenue records was not mutated. Hence, the petitioner had made several representations to the respondents for mutation of revenue records in his name. But, so far, the petitioner's representation was not considered and no order has been passed on it. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.
3. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 5th respondent Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
