O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the Respondent Police not to harass the petitioner on false cases in respect of civil dispute over the property at 4-A, Stringers Road, Vepery, Chennai - 600 003.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that based on the complaint lodged by one K.Prabakar, a case was registered in Crime No.374 of 2013 on the allegation of land grabbing. On the same set of allegation, already an enquiry was conducted and the matter was investigation and the complaint was closed in 2010 itself. Again, the respondent police are harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was lodged against the petitioner as well as his wife and the petitioner has got bail and he is not required for enquiry and only the 2nd accused/ wife of the petitioner namely, Anuja is required for enquiry. He further submitted that there is no intention on the part of the respondent police to harass the petitioner.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there is no need to pass any specific direction to the respondents. Therefore, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is closed.
