Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.T.C.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel for the Corporation of Chennai represented that the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.06.2017 has been rejected. The respondent has stated that the writ petitioner has to produce necessary documents which are mandatory for running a Restaurant and that the petitioner will have to pay Rs.12,500/- towards licence fee and that the writ petitioner is running a Restaurant and paid the license fee only for the Fast Foods. Hence, the said representation of the petitioner has been rejected and that it was also communicated to the writ petitioner. It is open to the writ petitioner to challenge the said rejection of his representation. No further orders are required to be granted in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
