Seeking issuance of patta, the General Power of Attorney of the petitioners made a representation on 22.05.2015 to the respondent no.1. In the said representation, he has stated that the patta has been wrongly assigned in favour of one Ajis Bai for an extent of 0.32 cent in Survey No.1173/3, Thaiyur Village, Kancheepuram District. On receipt of the said representation by the General Power of Attorney D.Singharaj dated 19.02.2015, the respondent no.1 directed the respondent no.2 to send a report as seen from the proceedings in O.Mu.No.1506/2015 dated 10.06.2015. As no further action is forthcoming, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation, the respondent no.1 is directed to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation dated 22.05.2015 and the earlier one dated 19.02.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after obtaining https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

necessary report from the respondent no.2 and after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as any third party, including the said Ajis Bai, if so required.
