ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has ben filed seeking a direction to the respondents, particularly the 3rd respondent Police, not to harass the petitioner in connection with a civil dispute.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that that there exists a civil dispute between the petitioner and the fourth respondent. Based on the complaint of the fourth respondent, CSR.No.101 of 2026 was registered. Both parties were enquired and it was found that dispute pertains to a civil issue concerning an extent of 960 sq.ft. It was further submitted that the matter has been referred to the Assistant Public Prosecutor for opinion. After obtaining such opinion, appropriate steps will be taken.
3. Considering the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police if required. However, it is made clear that, if the presence of the petitioner is required, the respondent Police shall issue necessary summons in accordance with law.
