O R D E R

WMP.No.14930 of 2024 filed seeking permission to file a single writ petition is ordered on payment of separate court fee.

2. The prayer of the petitioners is for a mandamus directing the second respondent to furnish copies of various documents as already sought for vide letters filed by them and secondly, to forbear R2 from proceeding with the enquiry without furnishing such copies.

3. Mr.U.Bharanidharan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents, points out to reply dated 26.04.2024 of R2 rejecting the request of the petitioners for the avowed reason that the petitioners are not entitled to the same.

4. In such circumstances, bearing in mind the stand already taken by R2, no purpose would be served in issuing mandamus and learned counsel for the petitioners would agree that order dated 26.04.2024 would have to be challenged. He thus makes an endorsement withdrawing this Writ Petition. This is recorded.

5. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as not pressed granting 2/4

liberty to the petitioners to challenge communication dated 26.04.2024. No costs.
