ORDER

This criminal original petition is filed to call for the records relating to the First Information Report in Crime No.76 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, TIW R4 Pondy Bazaar Police Station, Chennai, registered for the offences under Sections 279, 308 of IPC r/w 189 of Motor Vehicles Act, and quash the same as against the petitioner.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and the charge sheet has been filed in E-filing No.CC/LTN 20230001610c202400030, SR No. 28050/24 on 29.09.2025 before the VI Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the charge sheet, if he so desires. 17-04-2026 nv
