This Criminal Revision petition is filed under Sections 397 & 401 of Criminal Procedure Code against the judgment of the learned V Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai in C.A.No.195 of 2006 and to set aside the conviction and sentence imposed by the learned VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai in C.C.No.7587 of 1999 by the judgment dated 31.03.2008.

Crl.R.C.No.626 of 2008 :

This Criminal Revision petition is filed under Sections 397 & 401 of Criminal Procedure Code against the judgment of the learned V Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai in C.A.No.196 of 2006 and to set aside the conviction and sentence imposed by the learned VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai in C.C.No.7588 of 1999 by the judgment dated 31.03.2008.

For Petitioner : Mr. C.R.Sathindran COMMON ORDER As the petitioner in both these petitions are one and the same, these two revisions are taken up together for final disposal.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the revision petitioner/accused submitted that the complaint in C.C.Nos.7587 of 1990 & 7588 of 1999 had been withdrawn by the complainant.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in these matters. Hence, both these Criminal Revision Petitions are closed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
