COMMON ORDER Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.
2.These petitions have been filed by the petitioner/accused challenging the prosecution in C.C.No.156/1997 lodged against the petitioner by the respondents herein under the provisions of the Employees Provident Funds and Family Pension Fund Act, 1952. It appears that the trial Court had convicted the petitioner in C.C.No.156/1997 as early as on 21.11.2012. This fact has not been revealed by the petitioner in these quash petitions filed before this Court.
3.Since, the petitioner has already been convicted much earlier to the very filing of the quash petitions, nothing survives in these petitions. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed as no further order is necessary. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
