The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to direct the respondent to grant Registration/License to the petitioner to run aqua farm in (Kottakuppam) Nadukkuppam Village Marakkanam Taluk Villupuram District bearing S. Nos.625/2 and 625/4 by considering the application dated 04.07.2016. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner deposited a sum of Rs.500/- towards application fee. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.This Court is of the considered opinion that five years lapsed and the reason for non-consideration of the application is not placed before this Court. In view of the efflux of time, the petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh application, if he is otherwise eligible and in the event of the petitioner submitting a fresh application, the authorities competent are bound to consider the same strictly in accordance with rules and regulation and on merits.

4.With these observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs.
