Heard Ms. R.Divyapreathika for the civil revision petitioner.
2. This civil revision petition seeks for a direction for expeditious disposal of O.S. No. 114 of 2020 pending on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court at Denkanikottai.
3. When the matter came up for admission on 20.08.2024, I called for a report from the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Denkanikottai, as to how long he would require to dispose of the suit. He has sent a report saying that the 1st defendant has passed away and steps have been taken to bring on record his legal representatives. It is for this reason he would state that the suit is still pending. He would request six months time for the disposal of the suit.
4. Taking into consideration the age of the parties, the learned District 2/4
Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Denkanikottai is granted the time he seeks for. He shall dispose of the suit within six months and submit a report to this Court.
