Prayer :- Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking direction to the learned Additional Judge, Family Court, Coimbatore, to dispose the H.M.O.P.No.1382 of 2017, within a time limit stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to the learned Additional Judge, Family Court, Coimbatore, to dispose the H.M.O.P.No.1382 of 2017, within a time limit would be stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.1382 of 2017 for divorce, on the ground of cruelty, under Section 13 (1) (i-a) of the Hindu Marriage Act. This case is pending on the file 1/4

of the Additional Family Court, Coimbatore, from the year 2017 and the respondent has not filed counter so far, in spite of sufficient opportunities given. It is seen from the adjudication order sheet of H.M.O.P.No.1382 of 2017, that the case is pending from 2017 without any progress and not even the counter has been filed by the respondent.

3. Therefore, this court directs the learned Additional Judge, Family Court, Coimbatore, to dispose the H.M.O.P.No.1382 of 2017 on the file of the Additional Family Court, Coimbatore, and insist the respondent to file counter and also proceed to dispose the said petition as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
