Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 20.06.2015 filed by the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court after affording opportunity to the petitioner.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner while working as Shop Supervisor in Shop No.1058/Tirupattur, disciplinary proceedings were initiated vide charge memo dated 30.10.2012 and after enquiry, the Enquiry Officer found the charges framed against the petitioner have been proved and the Disciplinary Authority by its proceedings dated 30.05.2015, dismissed the petitioner from service with effect from 01.06.2015. The petitioner aggrieved by the order of dismissal passed by the disciplinary authority, preferred an appeal to the second respondent on 20.06.2015, since it has not been disposed of, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.T.R.Rajgajendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the submissions of Mr.C.Kasirajan, learned standing counsel for TASMAC who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.
4. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 20.06.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
