representation made by the petitioner dated 13.12.2017 and to grant crop insurance claim of 82.21% as sanctioned by the 5th respondent to the petitioner and his family members agricultural land covered under 'Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Scheme for the year 2016-2017 in Maraiyur Village, Mayiladuthurai Taluk, Nagapattinam District within a time frame fixed by this Court. Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the 2nd, 4th and 6th respondents. Since this writ petition is disposed of without affecting the interest of the 5th respondent, notice to the said respondent is dispensed with.
2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 13.12.2017, wherein in whereby, he sought for granting crop insurance claim of 82.21% as sanctioned by the 5th respondent to the petitioner and his family members agricultural land covered under 'Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Scheme for the year 2016-2017.
3. The petitioner claims that the 5th respondent Insurance Company has already sanctioned the crop insurance and therefore, the same has to be paid by the concerned officials including the 6th respondent Co-operative Credit Society. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation seeking for payment of such crop insurance and the said representation dated 13.12.2017 is still pending.
4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 and 6 submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed by the 3rd respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for either parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the request of the petitioner seeking for grant of crop insurance and pass appropriate orders on
