O R D E R

As against the interim order passed in the writ petition, an appeal was filed in W.A.No.1076 of 2023. It is now represented by the learned counsel for the respondents that when the writ appeal was listed in the last hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners had given an undertaking before the Hon'ble Division Bench that he would not precipitate the contempt proceedings.

2.In view of the undertaking given, it would not be appropriate to adjudicate the contempt proceedings parallelly when the writ appeal is pending. However, if liberty is granted to the petitioners to workout their remedy subject to the final outcome of the writ appeal, ends of justice could be secured.

3/5

3.Accordingly, the Contempt Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to workout their remedies, subject to the final outcome of the writ appeal.
