Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation made by him on 20.02.2017.
3. The petitioner has given a representation before the 2nd respondent to remove the name of the 3rd respondent in the patta issued by him.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the petitioner has to file an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, challenging the order passed by the 2nd respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5. Since the petitioner is challenging the issuance of patta issued by the 2nd respondent, the remedy open to him is only to file an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer. In view of the same, the writ petition stands dismissed and it is open to the petitioner to file an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer, challenging the issuance of patta by the 2nd respondent, in accordance with law. No costs.
