(Order of the Court was made by HULUVADI G. RAMESH,J.) The petitioner is before this court seeking to quash the impugned order of the 2nd respondent made in Na.Ka.G3.7348-12 dated 14.05.2013 signed on 15.05.2013 and consequently to direct the 2nd respondent to issue Community Certificate to the petitioner that she belongs to Reddy Ganjam (Backward Class) Community.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.S.Sivashanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The impugned order dated 14.05.2013 states that based on the final orders to be passed in W.P.No.10429 of 2012 filed by one Vignesh, pending on the file of this court, the issue regarding social status of Reddy Ganjam community in the area of Tiruvannamalai will be decided.

4. In the typed set of papers filed in the Writ Petition, in pages Nos.2 and 3, community certificate of the petitioner's father and petitioner father's sister finds place, which were issued by the Zonal Deputy Tahsildar dated 31.07.1989 and 02.07.1992 respectively.

However, it is seen that the petitioner has not given any application to the 1st and 2nd respondents seeking issuance of community certificate to her as issued to her father and aunt.

5. In view of the above discussions, we are of the view that the impugned order citing the pendency of W.P.10429 of 2012 has no relevance in the matter of issuing community certificate to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, the impugned order dated 14.05.2013 is quashed. Further, we direct the petitioner to submit an application seeking community certificate to the 2nd respondent along with supporting documents/certificates within 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such application, the 2nd respondent is directed to issue community certificate, after proper verification and in accordance with law within 2 months thereafter.

6. The Writ Petition stands allowed on the above terms. No costs.
