Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the sewage waste and human waste that comes out of the Le Royal apartment which is being let-out and get stagnated like a pool on the Kattupakkam main road, which falls within the limits of Kattupakkam Panchayat based on the representation of the petitioner dated 13.04.2018 and 14.08.2020.

2. Learned State Government Pleader submits that the Tahsildar, Poonamallee, has instructed him as under:
"A septic tank of Le Royale apartments measuring 100 sq. ft. is located in S.No.270/16 classified as village site and patta standing in the name of Tmt. Illamallee in Patta No 27 as per the village accounts of
Kattupakkam village in Poonamallee Taluk of Tiruvallur District.
The surplus septic tank water causes health hazardousness to the public nearby. The third respondent has been addressed to take suitable action in this issue by the second respondent in letter R.C. No 20/2020/B1 dated 03.10.2020 at the instance of the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2020. The third respondent has since been addressed in the office letter no R.C.No 20/2020/B1 dated 23.01.2024 to pursue necessary action under Section 128 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 in this matter at once."
3. In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. In the view of the disposal of the writ petition, W.M.P.No.17999 of 2020 filed to implead the proposed respondent stands closed.
