ORDER

This Court, by order dated 04.09.2018, disposed of the writ petition in WP.No.7761 of 2014, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 30.12.2013 with respect to grant of joint patta and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners, respondents 5 to 13 as well as any other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the said direction was not complied with, within the time stipulated by this court, the petitioners have come up with this contempt petition. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that pursuant to the order of this court, enquiry was conducted on 24.11.2021 and hence, necessary orders would be passed with regard to the claim of the petitioners, within a period of two weeks. 3/4

3. Recording the submission so made on the side of the respondents, this contempt petition stands closed, by directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders, on merits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
