This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to give police protection for life and limbs of the petitioner as per his
representation letter dated 23.02.2026 and 28.03.2026. 2.The petitioner, who is an ex-serviceman, lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent on 23.02.2026 and 28.03.2026. On the basis of the complaint dated 28.03.2026, CSR No.0226/2026 was issued by the respondent Police. The petitioner's wife, taking advantage of his absence, took control of his sons and daughters and they have teamed up against the petitioner and they have threatened the petitioner to settle the properties and valuables in their favour. The petitioner, unable to bear their torture, later filed a divorce petition in H.M.O.P.No.72 of 2024 on the file of the Sub-Court, Thittakudi, and the Sub-Court granted a decree of divorce on 08.10.2025.
Thereafter, his divorced wife, sons and daughters have joined together and assaulted the petitioner demanding property. The petitioner, for an earlier similar incident, lodged a complaint before the Thittakudi Police and a case in Crime No.142 of 2024 was registered on 23.06.2024 as against one Suryapirakash. It is the grievance of the petitioner that, thereafter, no enquiry is conducted. Due to the inaction of the Police, the petitioner's wife and children have got emboldened and they started attacking the petitioner often. 3.
