PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 28.12.2018 and application dated 18.03.2019 in accordance with law within a time frame fixed by this Court and Consequently forbear the respondents 1 to 4 from in any way interfering with or preventing the petitioner-Association from doing cattle business at S.No.89/B7 and S.No.89/7B, Thippampaatti Panchayat, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District till the said representations are considered. This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.12.2018 and the application dated 18.03.2019.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an Association consisting the Vendors as members submitted an 2/5
application under the Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Opening and Maintenance of Market) Rules, 2000 seeking license / permission to trade and carry on business of cattle at Survey Nos. 89/B7 and 89/7B , Thippampatti Panchayat, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District. However, it is not considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. In view of the above, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the representation and application submitted by the petitioner's Members and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
