Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certionarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the order passed by the third respondent in his interview letter No.234 dated 16.05.2018 and quash the same and direct the respondents to confine the interview separately for each post of Junior Assistant, Laboratory Assistant and Record Clerk and do the selection separately assessing the merit and ability of the candidates.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this writ petition to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the third respondent in his interview letter No.234 dated 16.05.2018 and quash the same and direct the respondents to confine the interview separately for each post of Junior Assistant, Laboratory Assistant and Record Clerk and do the selection separately assessing the merit and ability of the candidates.
2.The third respondent college has called for application for filling up 15 posts of non-teaching posts by their Notification / Advertisement No.1 dated 11.04.2018. The petitioner has applied for the posts of Junior Assistant, Record Clerk and Laboratory Assistant in the third respondent college, the interview for the said posts to be held on 24.05.2018. College had applied communal roaster and notified vacancies. The petitioner received interview letter dated 16.05.2018 stating that interview will be held on 24.05.2018 at 2.00 p.m. The third respondent has called him for interview for the post of Junior Assistant, Record Clerk and Laboratory Assistant today itself around 2.00 p.m. Since the scale of pay of the said three posts are totally different, the college cannot club all the posts together and hold common interview.
Since the qualification fixed for the three categories varies, he has sought a writ of mandamus to quash the interview letter dated 16.05.2018 and to direct the third respondent to conduct interview separately for each post of Junior Assistant, Record Clerk and Laboratory Assistant and do the selection separately based on merit and ability of the candidates.

When the matter came up before this Court yesterday, the learned Government Advocate submitted that there are four interview committees have been formed for each post and the petitioner will be accommodated in the interview for the said posts. There cannot be any disturbance to the petitioner in attending the interview and he will be accommodated.
4. This Court is of the view that the petitioner should be accommodated without any hindrance to the various posts he has applied and the interview should be held today itself.
5. Thus, recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. No costs.
