O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the first and second respondents to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 15.03.2025 wherein, the petitioner is seeking for survey, subdivision and issuance of separate patta in her name.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. It is seen from the records that there is a joint patta issued in Patta No.133 in the name of the petitioner and three others. The petitioner wanted subdivision of the property and for issuance of patta for the subdivided property. For this purpose, the petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted by submitting the online application on 15.03.2025 by paying necessary charges. The petitioner also submitted a separate 2/4
application for patta. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 15.03.2025, after affording an opportunity to other coowners, whose names are found in the joint patta. A decision shall be taken within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
