A.No.2151 of 2020 in C.S.No.715 of 2001 A.No.2151 of 2020 ín C.S.No.715 of 2001 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J., This application has been filed to amend the short and long cause title in view of the change in the name of the plaintiff's Company.

2. At the time of institution of the suit, the plaintiff's Company was known as Agri Development Finance (Tamil Nadu) Limited. It is now known as Nabkisan Finance Limited (formerly known as Agri Development Finance (Tamil Nadu) Limited).

3. It is to be noted that the defendants had already been set-exparte on 10.06.2014 more than 6 years ago. There is no point in issuing notice since they are not interested in participating in the judicial proceedings.

4. In support of the application, quite apart from the statements in the affidavit, the Certificate from the Registrar of Companies pursuant to Rule 29 of the Companies regarding the change in the name of the Company has also been enclosed. Since this is a fact difficult to either deny or dispute, and does not change of the cause of action, application is allowed. 5.The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the plaint both in the short cause title, long cause title and also in the Statement under Order 6 Rule 14 A of C.P.C with respect to the statement of addresses in the plaint.

6. List the matter once again on 28.10.2020.
