ORDER

This petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.04.2015 and investigate the case.

2.The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against her husband on the allegation of dowry harassment with the respondent. Though the complaint was received by the first respondent on 22.04.2015 and the same was forwarded to the second respondent, but the second respondent has not chosen to take any action on the said complaint. Hence, this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to give a fresh complaint along with a copy of this order to the second respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent on receipt of the same is directed to conduct enquiry on the same and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
