ORDER

This Contempt Petition is filed for disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 25.01.2021 in W.P.No. 23731 of 2017, thereby directing the respondents to restore the classification of the land measuring to an extent of 7.05 acres situated at Devanur Pudhur Village, Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur District, as patta land in the Adangal and 'A' Register in tune with the order of the Land Appellate Tribunal in L.T.C.M.A. 3/95 dated 30.12.1996.

2. In view of the order passed by this Court, the second respondent passed an order dated 12.08.2021, thereby ordering to restore the classification of the land as patta land and also directed the authority concerned to issue patta to the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that as directed by the second respondent, the third respondent 2/4

is taking steps to issue patta and the petitioner would be issued patta within a period of ten days.

4. Respondents 2 to 5 herein appeared today before this Court and their presence is noted.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate for respondents and also the order passed by the second respondent dated 12.08.2021, the Contempt Petition is closed. However, the third respondent is directed to issue patta to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
