By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that she is having the qualification of B.Sc., Home Science and the Home Science includes the study of Nutrition, Food Services Management and Dietetics. The petitioner has also completed her Post Graduate Course in Food Service Managements and Dietetics in the year 2004 from Madurai Kamaraj University. The petitioner would further state that she has also gained experience as Technician Field Work in Model Dot Project organized by Indian Council of Medical Research, Chetpet and also worked as Dietitian in Pioneer Hospital at Ramanathapuram between December 1997 and May 1999. For some time, she was also employed as Lecturer between June 2004 and March 2008 and also undergone training in various institutions as Dietitian and also participated in various seminars and workshops and also helped students in the projects. It is stated by the petitioner that the respondent herein has called for application for the post of Child Development Project

Officer in Tamil Nadu General Service in the year 2014 and she submitted an application for the said post and examination was conducted and she was also one of the successful candidates. The results were also announced on 08.07.2015. The petitioner was called upon to produce the certificates. Accordingly, she has produced the certificates and it was also verified on 12.08.2015. The petitioner was anxiously waiting to attend the interview, however her name was omitted in the list of candidates eligible to attend the interview and though she has approached the respondent to find out the reason, she has not been given any response. Therefore, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has repeatedly approached the respondent to find out out the reasons as to omitting her name in the list of candidates eligible to attend the interview, she has not been favoured with any response and therefore, she constrained to file this writ petition.

4. Heard the submissions of Ms.G.N.C.Niramathi, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

5. Though the petitioner prayed for larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances, permits the petitioner to submit a representation within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
