O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 17.10.2015. 2.The petitioner herein lodged a complaint against Jayamani, who is working as Police Constable in Puducherry Police Department at Mudaliarpet Police Station and Vadivel for the alleged offences under Sections 352, 354, 447, 294(b) and 506(ii) with the respondent on 17.10.2015. Though the said complaint was given as early as on 17.10.2015, till date no action was taken. Hence, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this court directs the respondent police to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 17.10.2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
