Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner has represented that the petitioner died. The writ petition is of the year 2020. It is also represented that the petitioner since died, however, even after a lapse of three years from the date of filing of the writ petition, no steps have been taken by the Legal Heirs of the petitioner, either to prosecute the case or to implead themselves, after the demise of the father. In such circumstances, it can inferred that the Legal Heirs, if any of the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as abated.
