The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 r/w Section 34 IPC in Crime No.25 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner stated that he would like to withdraw the matter as not pressed, since a learned Single Judge of this Court had granted stay of investigation in Crl.O.P.No.10284 of 2023. The defacto complainant had entered appearance through counsel and had also filed petition seeking permission to intervene before any order is granted by this Court.

3.The learned counsel for the intervener stated that the petitioner herein has previous cases of similar nature / land grabbing. This fact was ascertained from the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who stated that there are four previous cases of similar nature as against the petitioner herein.
