This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent herein not to harass the petitioner Anthony Doss S/o.Ruban and his family members without due process of law.

2.Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent police.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that on the complaint given by the Sub Inspector of Police, a case in Crime No.144 of 2019 had been registered against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 4(1) (a) r/w 4(1) (A) Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act and 20(1) of Cigarette and other Tobacco Products Act 2003, against the petitioner and one Goutham. would further submit that other than that the respondents are not harassing the petitioner.
