Sessions Judge, Chennai in C.A.Nos.188 of 2000 dated 28.04.2003 setting aside the judgment of the trial Court in C.C.No.9505/1998 on the file of the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore convicting the respondent/accused under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentencing him to undergo three months S.I. and to pay fine of Rs.3000/- in default to undergo S.I. for three months besides awarding compensation of Rs.10,000/- to the petitioner herein and acquitting the accused from the charge.
