This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register FIR on the complaint dated 04.03.2016, investigate and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The petitioner was a tenant under one Sadiq and that Sadiq had died, after the death of Sadiq, the petitioner is giving monthly rent to his wife Mrs.Rafika, which has been objected by Sadiq's parents and relatives. In this connection, this petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 04.03.2016 before the respondent Police.

4. If there is a dispute between the landlord and the tenant, it is open to the petitioner to deposit the rent before the competent Court. If there is any disturbance from the landlord's side, it is open to the petitioner to go to the Police Station to give a fresh complaint and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action taken in accordance with law.
