O R D E R

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the Appeal dated 27.03.2017 preferred by him.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the fact that the petitioner's filing Appeal as early as on 27.03.2017, the same has not yet been disposed of by the 3rd respondent.

4. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the third respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, in accordance with law, within a time frame.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the third respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 27.03.2017, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
