2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is rightly pointed out by the learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent that there is no representation / demand made by the petitioner for closing down the so-called illegal TASMAC shop No.11734 in Nainarpalayam Road, Chinnaselam, Villupuram District, which is a pre-requisite for maintaining a Mandamus. Hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. It is needles to mention that dismissal of the Writ Petition will not preclude the petitioner from making representation to the respondents, which shall be considered by the respondents in accordance with law. No costs.
