Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 4. Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the Respondents 2, 3 and 5. By consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider their representation dated 02.06.2017, within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that inspite of the petitioners' representation dated 02.06.2017, the first respondent has not passed any order so far.

4. Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 4 submitted that the first respondent may be directed to pass orders on the petitioners' representation dated 02.06.2017, in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 02.06.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
