O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 12.10.2015 and proceed further in accordance with law.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that earlier a complaint has been registered as against the petitioner on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant in this case and after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed in C.C.No.399 of 2014 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbathur. Thereafter, the present complaint has been filed as a counter blast. Thus, he opposed the prayer.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner denies for the same and sought for suitable direction.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the complaint given by the petitioner is pending before the respondent police, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 12.10.2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law as early as possible.

6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
