ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to provide adequate police protection while surveying the petitioner's property comprised in S.No.424/1C2B measuring to an extent of 50 cents situated at Aalur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering his representation dated 24.02.2025 within a stipulated period.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owned property comprised in S.No.424/1C2B measuring to an extent of 50 cents situated at Aalur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District. The petitioner submitted an application to survey and fix the boundaries in the property along with requisite fees.

On receipt of the same, the second respondent engaged the third respondent to survey the property. The surveyor visited the property to conduct the survey. While conducting survey, the respondents 4 to 6 herein objected and prevented the surveyor from surveying the property. Hence, this writ petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, if the third respondent finds any difficulties while surveying the petitioner's property at the hands of the respondents 4 to 6 herein, he can very well seek police protection before the first respondent. On receipt of such request, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 6 herein and pass appropriate orders to provide adequate police protection while surveying the petitioner's property, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition petition is disposed of. No costs.
