ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant Contract Carriage Maxi Cab Permit in favour of the petitioner for the vehicle, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition.

3. Mr.V.Veeramani, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner's application, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application dated 07.03.2026 seeking for grant of Contract Carriage Maxi Cab Permit in favour of the petitioner for the vehicle, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
