Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to re - convey the land owned/possessed by the petitioners situated in Survey Nos.17/3, 17/4, 17/5, 17/6 and 18/12 of Amanakkanthondi Village, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District which is part of the property in the land acquisition proceedings initiated by the respondents under Perambalur District (Now Ariyalur) Gazette dated 16.11.2000.
