This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st Respondent to forthwith rectify the mistake in the U.D.R Patta of the petitioner in respect of his lands measuring 2 Acres in Old Survey no. 77 New survey Nos. 77/3, 77/4 and 77/5 at Morangam village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District by considering and passing orders on the Representation of the petitioner dated 12.5.2021.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner had purchased the land measuring 2 Acres in S.No.77/3 and 77/5 situated Morangam Village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District from his brother one Ramasamy Gounder in the year 1971. On 22.11.1988 the petitioners father settled his land measuring an extent of 1 Acre and 48 cents in favour of the petitioner and the balance 52 cents of the land was not included in favour of the petitioner's family. It is grievance of the petitioner that there was a mistake committed in the UDR patta in respect of the above property of the petitioner's family. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 12.05.2021 to the respondents. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/5

6. In view of the above, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation dated 12.05.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the 3/5
petitioner as well as the counter parties, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
