( Criminal Jurisdiction ) Wednesday, the Fourth day of August Two Thousand Twenty One PRESENT The Hon`ble Mr Justice M.DHANDAPANI CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.7432 &7434 of 2021 IN CRL OP.271 & 241/2021 SELVAKUMAR [ PETITIONER/ACCUSED ] Vs THE INSPECTOR OF POLICE [ RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT ] BANK FRAUD INVESTIGATION WING, CENTRAL CRIME BRANCH, TEAM XXXI, VEPERY, CHENNAI-600 007 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner that he should report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders in Crl.O.P.Nos. 271 and 241 of 2021 dated 16/06/2021 by this Honourable Court and thus render justice,respectively (CRL.MP.NOs.7432&7434 of 2021).
Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.C.PAUL KANAGARAJ, Advocate (in both petitions) and of MR.C.E.PRATAP, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side)(in both petitions) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- Vide order dated 16.06.2021 this Court had granted anticipatory bail on certain and in one of the condition, the petitioners were directed to appear before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m until further orders.
2. These petitions have been filed seeking modification of the said condition.
3. Learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instruction, submits that the petitioners have been complying with the conditions without fail.
4. In view of the above submission, this Court is of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
considered view that the prayer as sought for by the petitioners could be acceded to.
5. Accordingly, the condition insofar as appearance as imposed by order dated petitioners shall appear before the respondent police, once in 15 days i.e., on every first and third Monday at 10.30 a.m. till the investigation is completed and charge sheet is filed and thereafter, shall appear before the concerned trial Court on each and every date of hearing.
