Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prays to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records pertaining to selection list of candidates provisionally admitted to writ main examination published through online on 13.02.2019 by the third respondent and quash the same insofar as it relates to instruction regarding upload the scanned copy of documents in support of the claim made in the online application from 21.02.2019 to 28.02.2019 in the e-seva centres run by TACTV and consequently direct the third respondent to permit the petitioner to write the main examination to be held on 11.05.2019 and 12.05.2019 for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Public Prosecutor, Grade II in prosecution Department included in the Tamil Nadu General Service as per notification No.23/2018 dated 03.10.2018 issued by the second respondent.

O R D E R

Pursuant to the orders passed by this Court on 09.05.2019, the petitioner was permitted to write the main examination that was held on 11.05.2019 and12.05.2019. This Court directed, the result to be furnished to this Court through a sealed cover.

2. It is seen from the selection list that the last mark that has been considered under the physically challenged quota was 167 marks in the written test. On opening the sealed cover and verifying the marks that has been secured by the petitioner, it is seen that he has secured very low marks and it is no where near the minimum mark of the selected candidates. It is therefore clear that the petitioner is not even within the zone of consideration.

3. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to go into the other issues that has been raised in the present Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
