O R D E R
The writ petition is filed for a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal petition dated 13.02.2025 challenging the Legal Heirship Certificate of one Ellamma issued by the second respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3. Though as per the Government order in the case of Class II heirs, pre-deceased relative is only mentioned, in the case on hand, in the Legal Heirship Certificate dated 15.09.2013, even the children of the predeceased are mentioned, but the petitioners' names alone have been left out. Therefore, the petitioners have made the representation.
4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General would submit that already an enquiry has been conducted and further proceedings is in the process. 2/4
5. In view thereof, let final orders in accordance with law be passed by the first respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of web-copy of the order without waiting for the certified copy of the order.
The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
