PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.02.2025 and sent to the 5th respondent and initiate action under the Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 and other applicable laws for unauthorized construction in the Schedule A property more fully described to the writ petition within a stipulated time frame. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) There are allegations of unauthorised deviated construction by private respondents in the residential colony.

2. According to learned counsel appearing for the private respondents, these constructions are standing for more than 40

years.

3. Learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4 submits that they have conducted inspection and certain deviations have been found.

4. As the respondent authorities have already initiated action, we are not inclined to proceed further in the matter and leave it open for the concerned authority to act in accordance with law. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
