ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to select and nominate a representative as per Clause 4 of the modified scheme framed by this Court in Appln. No. 2949 of 2005 in C.S. No. 117 of 1973, to enable the petitioner trust to induct such nominee into the Board for its effective functioning, by considering the petitioner's request dated 20.01.2025.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, since this Court has framed a scheme that includes a nominee from the University, the University should consider the request of the petitioner and nominate a suitable person to be inducted into the Board.

3. When the matter came up for admission, Ms. V. Sudha, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the University, submitted that the University will nominate a person, as requested by the petitioner in its representation dated 20.01.2025.

4. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of on the following 2/4

terms:- The respondent University shall nominate a person, as requested by the petitioner in its representation dated 20.01.2025, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of this order, without waiting for the certified copy. No costs.
