By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he was removed from service by an order of the District Revenue Officer, Kancheepuram dated 10.03.2014. Challenging the order, he has filed a Statutory Appeal before the respondent on 27.05.2014, but it has not been disposed of yet. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.

4. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to dispose of the Statutory Appeal dated 27.05.2014 filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

With the above said directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
