Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 and 2, from erecting a Bus shelter in front of the property in Door No.534 & 535, Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai - 600 018. 2.When the matter is taken up today, Mr.E.C.Ramesh, learned standing counsel for the 3rd respondent-Corporation would submit that till date the 3rd respondent has not started the construction. He would further submit that the petitioner has also sent the representation to the 3rd respondent only on 29.04.2023 and the 3rd respondent shall conduct an enquiry and pass orders within a period of two weeks and he would seek for dismissal of the writ petition.
3.In reply the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that till such time the 3rd respondent may be directed to maintain status quo. 4.The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 3rd respondent, to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 29.04.2023 Page No.2 of 4
within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and till the disposal of the said representation of the Petitioner, there shall be an order of status quo.
5.With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition, is closed. 05.05.2023 Index :
