ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the complaint given by the third respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the third respondent is the daughter-in-law of the petitioner and the petitioner's son is now at Saudi Arabia. She further submitted that the third respondent gave a false complaint against the petitioner and based on the same, the second respondent is harassing the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that since the third respondent gave a complaint against the petitioner, only for enquiry purpose, the petitioner was called and he was not subjected to any harassment.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to verify the complaint which is given by the third respondent and if the said complaint discloses any cognizable offence, she has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law and instead of doing so, she should not unnecessarily harass the petitioner.

5. With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of.
