This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 12.07.2016, investigate the matter and to file a final report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that, on a suo moto complaint by the Special Sub Inspector of Police, Ambattur Police Station in Crime No.2020 of 2016 has been registered against this petitioner on 17.07.2016 and similarly, an FIR in Crime No.2021 of 2016 has been registered against one Inbamani on 17.07.2016, both for offences under Section 75 of Tamil Nadu City Police Act, 1888.

4. In view of the above, no positive direction can be given to register a fresh FIR on the complaint dated 12.07.2016 that is said to have been given by the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
